a2i, Netcom sign MoU to develop skills

Aspire to Innovate (a2i) and Netcom Learning Global Limited on Sunday (Feb 4) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at working together to develop skills and create job opportunities in cutting-edge technologies like AI and robotics. The two organizations signed the MoU in line with the government's vision of building a smart employment ecosystem to address unemployment issues in the country, said an a2i press release.

Project Director (Joint Secretary) of a2i Md. Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan and Chairman and Managing Director of Netcom Learning Global Limited Mamun Sardar (Rasel Sardar) signed the MoU on behalf of their resuscitative organizations at a function held at ICT Tower in the city's Agargaon area. Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Md Shamsul Arefin was present at the function.

Under the agreement, a2i's e-learning platform 'Muktopaath', and skill development, and employment matchmaking platform 'NISE' will collaborate with Netcom Learning Global Limited to enhance the technical skills of jobseekers in the country.

The two organizations aimed at boosting employment opportunities in the job market by giving training to jobseekers on modern technologies, including AI and robotics, that are being used in the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution (4RI).

a2i Policy Advisor Anir Chowdhury, Policy Analyst and Head (Future of Education) Md Afzal Hossain Sarwar, Strategy and Innovation Specialist HM Asad-Uz-Zaman, Head (Commercial and Strategy) Rezwanul Haque Jami, Device Innovation Expert Taufiqur Rahman and Head of Culture and Communications Purabi Matin, among others, were present at the function.
