BEPZA executive chairman inaugurates customs office building at CEPZ

A newly constructed customs office building has been launched at Chattogram EPZ aiming to ease the doing business to the investors. Executive Chairman of BEPZA Major General Md Nazrul Islam inaugurated the office building at a function on Monday, said a press release on Tuesday (Jan 19).

In his speech, Md Nazrul Islam said that BEPZA is working relentlessly to offer an investment friendly congenial business atmosphere and through this step investors will be facilitated with uninterrupted customs services.

From the very beginning customs activities of Chattogram EPZ were being conducted in different buildings. Now, investors can complete all their customs related activities in the same building which will also be time consuming. Investors of CEPZ lauded the dedicated efforts of BEPZA to provide one-stop service by shifting all the customs related activities.

Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, Joint Commissioner of Chattogram Custom House, Santosh Soren, Assistant Commissioner, Chattogram EPZ Customs Bond Commissionerate, Moshiuddin Bin Mesbah, General Manager of Chattogram EPZ and local and foreign investors of CEPZ were present at the inaugural program.
