Int'l tourism fair to begin in Dhaka on Thursday

A three-day international tourism fair will begin at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Thursday (Feb 6).  Over 50 organisations from nine countries – the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran, Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Jordan, India, and host Bangladesh – will showcase various travel and leisure services at the fair.

The Bangladesh Monitor, a leading travel magazine, will organize the 20th edition of this tourism fair titled 'US-Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart 2025' to be held at the Ball Room of the hotel.

Cultural Affairs Adviser of the interim government Mostofa Sarwar Farooki will formally inaugurate the fair on Thursday, Editor of Bangladesh Monitor Kazi Wahidul Alam said while highlighting various aspects of the upcoming tourism extravaganza at a press conference held at a city hotel on Monday (Feb 3), local media reported.

Participating organisations represent national tourism organisations, airlines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, tour operators, financial institutions and others involved in travel and tourism.

The fair will remain open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m every day.
