Schools and colleges in the country will now remain open till Apr 20 instead of Apr 26 during the holy month of Ramadan. The decision was taken on Monday (Apr 4) at a meeting of the Education Ministry, local media reported.
Earlier in a notice on Mar 28, the ministry requested high school and college authorities to continue in-person classes till Apr 26 to cover the learning gaps caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
