Bangladesh Bank has fixed office hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for all scheduled banks in the country during the holy month of  Ramadan. However, people will be allowed to make banking transactions from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., according to a circular issued by the central bank on Wednesday (Mar 30).

For bank staff, there will be a break of 15 minutes from 1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Zuhr prayers.
