Online registration process for virtual final examinations of Honours and Master’s program under different batches and semesters of Jahangirnagar University started on Sunday (Jun 20), said a press release.

According to the release, the authorities have asked all of its students to fill-up the online examination entry form by Jun 30 as per a newly formed university ordinance, “Examination Ordinance During Disaster-2021”.

Controller of Examination, Professor Dr. Farid Ahmed said, every student has to complete the online registration process to participate in the examination. The student whose exams have already started before the pandemic will also have to complete the registration process.

No decision on taking registration fees has been made yet. We will take a final decision within the next three days in this regard. However, the university administration will decide to return registration fees to the students who have previously registered with the fee, he added.

Earlier, on Jun 2, JU authorities decided to hold online examinations amid the coronavirus pandemic with a view to reduce session jams.
