The national Vitamin A-plus campaign started across Bangladesh on Saturday (Jun 5) for the children aged between six months and 59 months.
The instant campaign is not taking place in any mobile vaccination centres due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing and other health regulations are to be followed by vaccination staffs and guardians.
The campaign will continue for two weeks during a period from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Children aged between six to 12 months are getting blue capsules while those between one to five years red capsules.
The campaign is being run at EPI centres, permanent healthcare centres, community clinics and public healthcare centres, local media reported.
