Mild to moderate heat wave may continue

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and it may continue.

Weather is likely to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to a met office release.

The country’s maximum temperature on Monday (Apr 26) was recorded 39.8 degree Celsius at Jashore and today’s minimum temperature 21.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
