Bangladesh Bank has fixed the banking hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday (Apr 12) amid the lockdown to halt sharp rise of Covid-19 in the country.
Banks will remain open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the transaction shall be made between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., said a central Bank circular on Sunday.
The new time will continue until Apr 13, the circular added.
