Renowned Bangladeshi actor Shahin Alam passed away on Monday (Mar 8) at a hospital in the capital, Local media reported.
Shahin Alam was fighting kidney problems, as well as diabetes, before he was taken to the hospital on Saturday.
Shahin started his career in 1986 with the help of "Notun Mukher Shondhane". His first film was "Mayer Kanna". He was later featured in films like "Ghater Majhi", "Goriber Shongshar", "Teji", "Chadabaj", "Prem Protishodh", "Rag Onurag", "Dagi Shontan", "Deshdrohi" and "Ma", among many others.
The actor was laid to rest at 10.30 a.m. today at Banani Graveyard.
