Valiant freedom fighter and Sikdar Group chairman Zainul Haque Sikder died on Wednesday (Feb 10) afternoon at the age of 91. He breathed his last at 12:30 p.m. while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the UAE, local media reported citing a press release.
Zainul, also chairman of National Bank, left behind five sons and three daughters and host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Bangladesh Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock at his death and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
