Students asked not to make gathering on result day

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Education Ministry has imposed restriction on gathering in the educational institutes as the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations-2020 will be published through online on Saturday (Jan 30).

The HSC or its equivalent exams result will not be send to the concerned institutes... so it is strictly prohibited not to make any gathering in the educational institutes throughout the country, said an education ministry release on Friday.

Gathering in the educational institutes in any state is strictly forbidden on result publication day.

Before publishing result, the students have been asked for making pre-registration through typing HSC< >Board name (First 3 letter)< > Rol< >2020 from their mobile message option and then send to 16222 number for getting result on the mobile phone, said the release.

The pre-registered candidates will get their results immediately after publishing the result. The result will be available from the tele-talk website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd or from the concerned education board websites.

The result will be formally announced from the International Mother Language Institute at Segunbagicha in Dhaka on Saturday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to join online with the result publication ceremony from her official Ganabhaban residence.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will receive the results on behalf of the premier.
