29 Indian sailors returned home on a special flight of NOVOAIR. Indian sailors were stranded in Bangladesh due to the coronavirus situation. NOVOAIR special flight with Indian sailors departed from Dhaka local time 2:30 p.m. and arrived in Kolkata local time at 2:52 p.m. on Tuesday.
Due to coronavirus situation, flights between India and Bangladesh have been suspended from Mar 15.
NOVOAIR currently operates daily four flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, three flights to Cox's Bazar, four flights to Jashore, four flights to Saidpur, two flights to Sylhet, two flights to Barishal and two flights to Rajshahi in compliance with the health guidelines issued by the government.
