MTB inks MoU with NOVOAIR to launch co-branded credit card

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and NOVOAIR Limited recently signed an MoU to launch a co-branded credit card ‘MTB NOVOAIR UnionPay Platinum Credit Card’ for the members of NOVOAIR’s Frequent Flyers program ‘SMILES’ at MTB Centre, the bank’s Corporate Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka.

Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director, NOVOAIR Limited, and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, Mutual Trust Bank Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Mesbahul Islam, Head of Marketing & Sales of NOVOAIR Limited, and Syed Rafiqul Haq, Additional Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Group Chief Risk Officer, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Head of Cards and Azam Khan, Group Chief Communications Officer of MTB along with other senior officials from both the organizations were present during the occasion.

The co-branded cardholders will enjoy exclusive benefits like discounted fare at all domestic and international routes operated by NOVOAIR, Bonus SMILES Miles, free access to MTB Air Lounges across the country, and many more.

NOVOAIR currently operates 28 flights per day; six flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, six flights to Cox's Bazar, five flights to Saidpur, five flights to Jashore. Two flights to Sylhet, two flights to Barishal, one flight to Rajshahi and Kolkata.
