Jatiyo Party Presidium Member Salma Islam, MP (reserved seat) has been made the party’s Dhaka district unit president. Party chairman G M Quader came up with the announcement at the council of the party’s unit on Saturday (Nov 30).
He asked Salma to constitute a full-fledged committee of the unit by the next 10 days, local media reported.
Jatiyo Party secretary general Moshiur Rahman Ranga, presidium members Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, Syed Abu Hossain Babla and SM Faisal Chisti were, among others, present at the programme.
