Mr. S A K Ekramuzzaman, a renowned businessman and Managing Director of the country’s largest and leading tiles and sanitary ware brand RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited, has received the prestigious CIP Industry 2017 in the large industry category by the Ministry of Industries of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for his significant contribution for industrialization in the economy of Bangladesh.
He is a pioneer of ceramics business in Bangladesh.
RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited incorporated in Bangladesh in 1998 as a UAE and Bangladesh joint venture project and subsequently listed in the stock exchanges of Bangladesh in 2010. It is a subsidiary of RAK Ceramics PJSC, UAE, which is one of the largest ceramics’ brands in the world. The company also awarded as Best Brand Award 2017 and 2018 in Bangladesh as ceramics tiles brand.
Mr. S A K Ekramuzzaman involved with many other businesses in Bangladesh. He was awarded “Bangladesh Remittance Award 2013” for his significant contribution in national economy through remittance income.
He also selected as a highest taxpayer of the Dhaka City Corporation multiple times by the National Board of Revenue. He has significant contribution to FDI in Bangladesh.
