Chattogram City Corporation will give reception to 150 Freedom Fighters on the occasion of Victory Day.
The decision of honouring the valiant freedom fighters were taken at the 52nd general meeting of 5th elected body of CCC on Wednesday (Nov 20) at Theatre Institute Hall in the port city, local media reported.
The meeting also decided that those Freedom Fighters, who earlier were given reception, will not be eligible in the new list.
CCC public relations office sources said after assigning as city mayor, A J M Nasiruddin has already awarded 588 Freedom Fighters in the meantime.
All ward councilors, senior officials of CCC were present in the meeting.
