Fire drill at PRAN factory Ghorashal

A fire drill was conducted at PRAN factory in Ghorashal on the occasion of Fire Service and Civil Defense Week 2019. Palash Fire Station arranged the program on Saturday noon with the assistance of Ghorashal PRAN Factory.

Fire Fighters of Palash and Narsingdi took part in the drill at the PRAN factory’s premises. As a part of the program, a discussion meeting was also held to create awareness to avert fire incidents.

Nurul Islam, Deputy Assistant Director at Narsingdi Fire Service and Civil Defense said, “Any case of fire incident, people need to contact with fire service authority at first not the family members. Because we are always ready to help the people for fire incident.”

Kazi Wahidur Rahman, General Manager (EHS) of Corporate Finance of PRAN-RFL Group said, “PRAN gives the safety of workers as its first priority. We have a fire service team in every factory. This drill obviously helps our team to gather experience. We thank Palash Fire Station for selecting our factory for fire drill.”

Imrul Kayes, Additional Deputy Commissioner in Narsingdi, Rumana Yeasmin, Upazila Nirbahi Officer at Palash, Farhana Ali, Assistant Commissioner (Land) at Palash, Dipak Kumar Dev, General Manager, PRAN Factory at Ghorashal, Mostak Ahmed, General Manager, PRAN Industrail Park, among others, were also present at the program.
