Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has signed an agreement with IPDC Finance Limited to host the “3rd BASIS National ICT Awards 2019”.
Winners of BASIS National ICT Awards would be nominated for APICTA Awards 2019, which will be held at Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, a press release said on Thursday (Aug 8).
BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, Convener of BASIS National ICT Awards and BASIS Director Didarul Alam, Head of Events, BASIS National ICT Awards Rajib Ahmed and IPDC Finance Limited Managing Director and CEO, Mominul Islam, DMD and Head of Business Finance, Rizwan Dawood Shams and Head of Corporate Communications Mahzabin Ferdous were present at the signing.
Almas said: “In BASIS National ICT Awards, innovative and prospective ICT projects of Bangladesh will be recognized. Through a robust judging process the best candidates will be selected. These projects depict the wide potential of Bangladesh’s ICT sector. We are glad to have IPDC with us in this initiative.”
IPDC Finance Limited’s MD Mominul said: “The objective of BASIS National ICT Awards is to provide recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals, students, entrepreneurs, SMEs and organizations with operations in Bangladesh who have contributed to the development of the Digital Bangladesh initiatives or in building applications and services for the benefit of Bangladesh.
“We want to be a long term partner in this initiative and today our collaborative journey has begun.”
In October, the grand finale of BASIS National ICT Awards 2019 would take place at Radisson Blu Water Garden, Grand Ball Room.
