For the first time in country's banking history, Bank Asia Limited has installed the first ever 'RMG Digital Banking Booth' at Gazipur initiated at Echotex Ltd on Saturday (Nov 10). This kind of banking service has served the key craftswomen of country's development story, the readymade garments workers, said a press release.
According to the press release of the bank, this is an on premise especial bank where all the workers of Echotex factory will receive effortless banking facilities. There is no more need of taking leave to do banking or carry vulnerable cash money for the workers, ultimately saving time and expenses.
Chairman of the executive committee of the board of Bank Asia Rumee A Hossain inaugurated the 'Echotex RMG Digital Banking Booth' as the chief guest while director of Echotex Ltd Mohammad Bin Kashe chaired the occasion.
Md Nasir Uddin Director of BGMEA, Md Arfan Ali, President and Managing Director of Bank Asia and other high officials from the bank and Echotex were present at the occasion.
