e-CAB signed MoU with Singer Bangladesh

A MoU has been signed between e-CAB and Singer Bangladesh Ltd. on Tuesday (Aug 1) to provide ‘NFC smart card’ free of its association’s members. Thru this sponsorship assistance, e-cab is going to be the first association in Bangladesh among others as a frontier body to implement the Smart Bangladesh vision. e-CAB General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Wahed Tamal and Chandana Samarasinghe, Marketing Director of Singer Bangladesh Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

By this agreement, Singer will bear all expense of smart card design, development, and production cost. The card has a Near Field Communication (NFC) chip. So, when it's tapped, the recipient will see its owner contact information on his smartphone. The link card should contain more information than a simple printed visiting card. There will also be a discount card for members.

e-CAB Finance Secretary Asif Ahnaf and Member Affairs Standing Committee Chairman Abdur Rahman Mamun and Singer Bangladesh Limited Head of Marketing Communication Bedoura Farhana and Head of e-Business Abubakar Rahil were present at the signing ceremony. e-Cab Assistant Manager Md. Shahadat Hossain and Shakhawat Hossain Shuvo, were present, among others.
