Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with K Mushtaq and Hasna Elahi Foundation (KHMEF), Rangpur on launching a scholarship program on Tuesday (Jun 20). The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at the syndicate room of the university, said a press release.
BRUR Registrar Engineer Mohammad Alamgir Chowdhury and former Professor of Bloomsburg University in the United States Dr. K. Mushtaq Elahi signed the MoU on behalf of BRUR and charity organisation K Mushtaq and Hasna Elahi Foundation, Rangpur respectively. Vice-Chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr. Md. Hasibur Rashid was present in the ceremony.
BRUR Treasurer Professor Dr. Mojib Uddin Ahmed, renowned educationist Professor Dr. K. Moudood Elahi, Controller of Examinations of BRUR Professor Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, PS to the VC Md. Khairul Islam, Deputy Director of the Public Relations, Information and Publication Division Mohammad Ali, its Assistant Director Md. Ehteramul Haque, among others, were present.
