Taat : A New
Saree House

Rong, a fashion house of Narayanganj, started its journey
in the capital city Dhaka by setting up a boutique shop
with a new name Taat. Rong serves a lot of customers with
their attractive and exclusive designs of sarees. Earlier
customers from Dhaka used to visit Narayanganj for their
shopping purposes at the elegant boutique shop there. And
finally the fashion house came to Dhaka to cater the needs
of customers better by bridging the distance gap. Rong's
Dhaka branch, Taat, is located at Santinagar. |

One of the
most popular models of Bangladesh- Mou and her husband,
Jahid Hasan, the popular TV star, formally inaugurated
the new outlet on September 15. Now all the elegant and
exclusively designed sarees of Rong are available at the
new outlet in Dhaka.
Fabrics:
Taat usually collects sarees from the local knitter of Patrail, Narayanganj and design those on their own to
give those a new elegant look.

Biplob Saha uses block, spray, hand paint, vegetable dying,
batik, tie-dye and embroidery for giving the fabrics a
modern and eye-catching look. The common materials of
the fabrics are Taat of Tangail. Pahari Silks, Tangail
Silks, Dhakai Biti, Durre Sarees, Grameen Cheques and
soft silks are also available at the outlet.
