First
Windows Phone to feature HTC Sense and a capacitive
touch-screen. It was only officially announced today but already
we're seeing a wave of new phones running on Windows Mobile 6.5.
Following the LG GW750, HTC has announced the HD2, a feature
heavy phone that sports a whopping 4.3 inch touch screen.
This isn't just any touch-screen mind. The HTC HD2 is the first
Windows phone to boast a capacitive touch screen enabling iPhone
esque finger pinches to zoom in and out of photos and websites.
Running on super quick 1Ghz Snapdragon processor HTC has coated
the HD2 in its own HTC Sense skin that displays all your
individual communication, be it text conversations, email
exchange or Facebook updates into one onscreen view.
The manufacturer has also included a Windows based version of
its Twitter application called HTC Peep. Using the five
megapixel camera, consumers will be able to upload pictures
directly to both Twitter and Facebook.
The HTC HD2, formerly known as the HTC Leo, will be available
later this month though pricing details and operator information
is yet to be announced.
