Dada BD Limited, a South Korean
company in Savar EPZ, was declared
closed on Sunday apparently due to
financial problem caused by world
economic recession.
Under Golden Handshake programme, the
company paid all dues to its 428
workers on Sunday.
With this, a total of 4,000 workers of
the company were paid their all dues
with the closure of the company.
The company, which started its journey
in EPZ here in 1993 initially along
with 14,000 workers, decided to shut
down its activities due to world
economic recession.
