NOVOAIR, the popular private airline of Bangladesh, successfully completed its five years of commercial operation. On Jan 9, 2013, NOVOAIR started its flight operations between Dhaka and Chittagong, said a press release on Monday (Jan 8)
On the eve of completion of five successful years, Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of NOVOAIR said that NOVOAIR has always given priority to its customers’ safety, security, comfort and on time departure. By ensuring the top of the class and on time service, NOVOAIR has earned trust and satisfaction of its passenger and become the Airline of choice in Bangladesh.
He added that, stepping into the 6th year, our commitment will be ensuring safe passenger services with addition of more aircrafts, expanding internal and international destinations, consistent with our valuable passengers need.
From 2013 to 2017, NOVOAIR operated more than 33000 flights and carrying over 1500000 passengers with a remarkable 97.57% on time performance. Currently, NOVOAIR operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Jessore, Sylhet, Saidpur and Kolkata.
At present, NOVOAIR has four ATR 72-500 aircraft in its fleet and soon more to join, the release added.
