Economic Relations Division (ERD) launched an information repository 'ERDPEDIA' to facilitate access to information on relevant documents including the agreements and MoU signed by ERD and development partners. This software is enriched with 13,000 documents covering 150,000 pages, said a media release.
State Minister for Finance and Planning M A Mannan inaugurated this 'Document Management Software' in a function held on Monday (Nov 6) at ECNEC conference room.
ERD organized the launching ceremony with the assistance of UNDP supported Knowledge for Development Management (K4DM) project.
Additional Secretary (UN wing) in ERD and also the National Project Director of K4DM Project Jalal Ahmed presided over the launching programme while ERD secretary Kazi Shofiqul Azam spoke at the program as special guest.
Deputy Secretary of ERD Mohammad Nazim Uddin and Assistant Country Director of UNDP Shaila Khan attended the programme.
