The 3G and 4G data services of mobile phone were restored on Friday (Dec 28) morning after around 10 hours of suspension across the country.
The 3G and 4G data services were resumed around 8 a.m., local media reports said citing Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) sources.
Following the directives of the BTRC, the mobile phone operators restored the 3G and 4G data services.
Earlier, BTRC on Thursday night asked all the mobile phone operators to suspend the 3G and 4G data services across the country ahead of Sundays’ election.
The move came following instructions from the Election Commission to slow down the mobile internet speed.
