Agricultural Marketing Company Limited (AMCL), a sister concern of PRAN Group, has been awarded with the ‘ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2017’ in the Miscellaneous Manufacturing Category.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith handed over the award to Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Chief Financial Officer of AMCL, through a program held at a city hotel on Saturday.
Dr. M Khairul Hossain, Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission and Suvod Kumar Karn, President of South Asian Federation of Accountants, were also present at the function.
On winning the award, Atiur Rasul said, “It is a matter of pride that we received the award. This recognition is another stepping stone to go ahead and will encourage us to play stronger role in future to move the country’s economy forward.”
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) honored 32 organizations under 13 categories for their organizational performance in 2017.
