Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Southeast University (SEU) organized a workshop on 'Preparation of Five-Year Improvement Plan of Academic Departments' on Thursday (Nov 2) at the seminar hall of the university.
Prof. Dr. A N M Meshquat Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of SEU, chaired the session while Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim, Director of IQAC, SEU delivered the welcome speech.
M. Kamaluddin Chowdhury, Representative Trustee, BOT, SEU Trust, attended the program as the guest of honor and Prof. Dr. AFM Mafizul Islam, Adviser, BOT, SEU Trust, was present as the special guest and delivered his speech highlighting the views of BOT about the vision of converting Southeast University to a world class university by 2030.
Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Head, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), HEQEP-UGC Bangladesh was present at the program as the chief guest and Principal Resource Person and Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen, Quality Assurance Specialist, HEQEP-UGC was present as Resource Person. They gave presentations on 'Preparation of Five-Year Improvement Plan of Academic Departments'.
Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd), Registrar of SEU and all heads and members of Self Assessment Committee (SAC), all Chairs, Directors and Coordinators from different departments of SEU participated at the workshop.
