PRAN participating SIAL Food Fair in France

PRAN, a leading food processor in Bangladesh, is participating in SIAL Food fair for the ninth time. The group is displaying over 500 products in two stalls at the fair. The five-day fair begins on Oct 21 and will continue till Oct 25.

This year, about 7000 exhibitors from 109 countries are participating in the fair, one of largest food fairs in the world, at Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris of France.

The Bangladeshi group is displaying its products in juice and beverage, confectionary, snacks, biscuit and bakery, culinary, spice and frozen categories in the stalls. In the fair, PRAN is exhibiting 20 new products. The products include aloe vera juice, gummy candy, protein bar, chocolate coated coconut bar, center filled chocolate cookies and snacks noodles.

Mizanur Rahman, Chief Operating Officer at PRAN Export Limited, said, SIAL Fair is one of the largest food fairs in the world. Traders and buyers come to this fair from every corner of the globe.

He also said “The objective behind the participation in the fair is to increase export earnings of the PRAN Group through searching new buyers. Moreover, we can get idea about the world’s food market which help us to bring new products in the market for our customers across the globe.”

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director at PRAN-RFL Group said "PRAN Group always gives importance on quality in manufacturing products. For the reason, PRAN products are not only popular in Bangladesh but also gradually getting popularity in the global market." He also said, PRAN exports its products to 141 countries now. The Group has exported $330 million worth of products in 2017-18 fiscal.
