Bangladesh Nationalist Party - BNP have brought out a rally in Nayapaltan area of the capital city, marking its 40th founding anniversary on Saturday (Sep 1).
Leaders and activists of different associate bodies of the party including of Dhaka metropolitan unit and the central committee joined the rally.
The rally is chaired by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and moderated Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie.
Formalities of the celebration began around 2 p.m., local media reports said.
