Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri died late on Monday (Jul 16) after fighting a kidney related ailment for many days; she was 62. The late actor died at Sujoy Hospital in suburban Juhu, Mumbai where she was admitted for last two weeks.
The popular character actor who has worked in both films and TV was still active and was playing the grandmother’s role in Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya. Rita’s funeral took place at Andheri in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Bhaduri was admitted to Sujay Hospital in Mumbai for the past few days, where she was undergoing dialysis on alternate days for the disease. She acted in popular TV shows like ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’, ‘Kumkum’ and ‘Amanat’ among others.She was currently a part of the TV serial ‘Nimki Mukhiya.'
