Center for Modern Languages of Southeast University (SEU) organized a certificate giving ceremony for the participants of 'English for General Purpose Course' on Wednesday (Oct 25) at the seminar hall of the university.
Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of SEU, was present as the chief guest while M. Kamaluddin Chowdhury, Representative Trustee, BOT, Southeast University Trust was present as guest of honor.
Prof. Dr. AFM Mafizul Islam, Adviser, Board of Trustees, SEU Trust, and Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd.), attended the ceremony as special guests.
Harunur Rashid Khan, Director, Center for Modern Languages and Chairman, Department of English, delivered the welcome speech at the programe.
At the end of the program, the Vice-Chancellor distributed certificates among the participants.
Faculty members of English department were present at the program, among others.
