Pathao affiliates with Toma Taxi

The country’s popular ride-sharing app Pathao signed an agreement with Toma Taxi to increase the number of car in a single platform. Pathao Vice-President Kishwar Hashemee, and Toma Taxi Head of Operation Sifat Mohammad Junaid recently signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.

Pathao Director (Customer Experience), Alween Rajeev, Senior Manager (Impact Financing) Ruzan Sarwar, Junior VP (Product) Ahmed Fahad, Manager (Direct Acquisition) Ahmed Asif, and Manager (Operations) Mahfuzul Amin Sheikh were present, among others, at the signing ceremony. 

Under this agreement, over 200 taxis would be added to Pathoa’s fleet, giving their customers flexibility in choosing their cars. All Toma taxis will share rides under the banner of Pathao cars, through the Pathao app.

Toma Taxi service, is the first of its kind in Bangladesh, providing unique features of comfort, safety and reliability in taxi service. At present Toma has a fleet of 250 taxis. The taxi service started its operations in 2014 and have been serving mainly in Dhaka with features like fast booking, GPS tracking and free wifi.

Toma taxi service is continuously working to enhance customer experience by providing higher standard service.
