Bangladesh announce squad for T20I

The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday (May 20) announced a full-strength 15-member squad for their forthcoming Twenty20 series against Afghanistan scheduled to start from Jun 3. Pacer Taskin Ahmed, opener Imrul Kayes, and wicketkeeper batsman Nurul Hasan, who were the part of the Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka in March, have been dropped from the side. All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain was called back in the side after a gap of two Twenty20 series, local media reports said.

The three-match series will be held in Indian city Dehradun from Jun 3 to 7. The Tigers will travel to India on May 29.

Afghanistan are ranked eighth in Twenty20 internationals, two place ahead of Bangladesh.
