Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Executive Council election for the term 2018-2020 was held on Saturday (Mar 31). 397 members from general member category and 145 members from associate member category casted their votes. S M Kamal, Chairman, BASIS Election Board, officially announces the primary result of the election in the evening, said a press release.
As per the number of obtained votes, the members elected from General Member Categories are: Syed Almas Kabir, Chief Executive Officer of MetroNet Bangladesh Limited, Mushfiqur Rahman, Managing Partner of Spectrum Software & Consulting (PVT) Limited, Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Director of Business Automation Limited, Tamzid Siddiq Spondon, Managing Director of ZANALA Bangladesh Limited, Farhana A. Rahman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UY Systems, Didarul Alam, Managing Director of Shooting Star Limited, Luna Shamsuddoha, Founder and Chairman of Dohatec New Media, Mustafa Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of Flora Telecom Limited and A.K.M Fahim Mashroor, Director of Ajker Deal.com Limited from Associate Member category.
Former BASIS Presidents, EC members have congratulated the newly elected BASIS executive council members.
The office bearer election will be held on Apr 2, the release added.
