US-Bangla Airlines adds new aircraft

US-Bangla Airlines added one more DASH 8-Q400 aircraft to its fleet. The aircraft was received by US-Bangla Airlines’ CEO Imran Asif at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka recently, said a press release. Captain Abid Sultan, Captain Lutfor Rahman and First Officer Maruf Ahmed flew with this ferry flight from Montreal, Canada.

The airline currently operates four Boeing 737-800 and four Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

Currently, US-Bangla Airlines operates domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Jessore, Sylhet, Saidpur, Rajshahi, Barisal and international flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Doha and Muscat. It also operates from Chittagong to Kolkata, Doha and Muscat.

US-Bangla has planned to increase number of flights in domestic and regional routes with the new aircraft.

The airlines started its operations in Jul 17, 2014 and has already become a preferred passenger airlines in Bangladesh.
