Sainjeer Baramkhana on Maasranga TV
Sainjeer Baramkhana, a 13-episode musical programme featuring songs of mystic bard Lalon Shah will start airing from Monday on the screen of Maasranga Television.
Produced by Al Masum, the programme is a highlight of the music festival that was held earlier in year in Kushtia on the occasion of the great bard’s birth anniversary.
The festival featured eternal songs of baul king Lalon Shah by folk singers like Shafi Mandal and his disciple Anusheh Anadil; Sumi, Leena Mandal, Akash Baul, Zafar Iqbal, Kanon, Rustam Fakir, Khude Gaanraj singer Munna, Kamal Pasha, Muna, Sarkar Amirul Islam, Farida Yasmin and Shariful Baul, among others.
The programme showcasing catchy parts of the festival is scheduled to go on air at 11:00pm on Mondays.
